She wanted to find a foreclosure in the Cupertino school district, the most prestigious neighborhood in Sunnyvale. She was not reading my updates about Sunnyvale. Prices are still strong. If the House is priced under $900k in this area, it will probably get multiple offer and get sold over asking price. Last week a house in the Birdland neighborhood had 29 offers and sold for $130k over asking price. Another house, a few blocks away, was priced at about $900K and had 7 buyers competing on it. Foreclosures usually happen in ares where the prices are going down and owners owe the bank more than it’s value.
